Humphrey Amps ("we", "us") builds amplifiers by hand and runs this website to show our work, answer questions and take build deposits. This page explains what information we collect, why, and who else handles it on our behalf. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

What we collect

  • When you contact us: your name, email address, optional phone number, the topic you pick and your message. We use this only to reply to you and, if you order, to plan your build.
  • When you place a deposit: payment is handled entirely by Stripe. Your card or bank details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers. Stripe shares with us your name, email, billing details and the build options you chose so we can confirm your order and arrange shipping.
  • When you browse: like almost every website, our host (Cloudflare) processes basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Services that help us run the site

  • Stripe processes deposits and payments.
  • Cloudflare hosts the site and runs Turnstile, which checks that contact-form submissions come from a person rather than a bot.
  • Resend delivers contact-form messages to our inbox.
  • YouTube hosts the review videos on our Reviews page; YouTube may set its own cookies when you play a video.
  • Google Analytics tells us, in aggregate, how visitors find and use the site. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on.

Each of these services handles data under its own privacy policy.

Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies. The services above may set cookies needed for security (Turnstile, Stripe checkout), analytics or video playback. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some features such as the contact form may ask you to verify again.

How long we keep it

We keep messages and order records for as long as we need them to answer you, build and support your amplifier, and meet tax and accounting obligations.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected] or using our contact form.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
